COLLECTED TRANSITIONAL ~ PARTIAL RENOVATION
This project focused on refreshing the home to feel current while staying true to its original architecture. The homeowners have a keen eye for design and an incredible collection of vintage pieces and artwork, so the goal for the kitchen and great room was to simplify and update while complementing their style. We started by introducing warm wood flooring throughout, updating cabinet fronts, and refinishing them in a rich, moody blue to ground the kitchen, the heart of their lively home. Thoughtfully curated lighting and walnut shelving add modern touches, seamlessly blending the various design elements.

By removing the Tuscan-style corbels and ornate architectural details from the existing cabinetry, we achieved a more modern and streamlined aesthetic that aligned with the homeowner’s style, without requiring a full renovation.

Walnut details add warmth and interest.
